Gabriel comes from a family deeply rooted in the world of education. Growing up surrounded by educators, a passion for learning and teaching was instilled from an early age. With interests spanning travel, practical learning, cultural exploration, and traditional games, Gabriel found unique ways to merge these passions throughout his life.
From a young age, Gabriel demonstrated remarkable resilience. By the age of 6, he had learned to navigate public transport independently and even started his first business at 7. At the age of 9, Gabriel applied for his first job as a Kiddie Crew, going on his own to book his birthday party at McDonald's and was awarded Best in Drive-thru.
Gabriel worked as an event organiser and emcee, where he hosted numerous children's parties and really appreciated the energy and curiousity of the kids he worked with. He also worked party host at AMF Bowling, Gabriel honed skills in engagement on working with a big number of children at the same time.
In 2013, Gabriel founded a Filipino youth cultural and creative collective, where these skills blossomed further. Through that, he was offered to teach for the Filipino Ethnic School of South Australia, Gabriel dedicated time to educating young minds, fostering an appreciation for cultural heritage.In 2023, Gabriel's commitment to education was recognized with an invitation to join the board of Community Language Schools SA.
For years, Gabriel had a vision to channel his dedication into creating an environment where children can thrive, learn essential values, and build confidence for a brighter future.
Most recently, while working as a claims' manager for worker's compensation insurance, Gabriel firsthand have encountered the physical and psychological toll of unruly behaviour in schools was having on teaching staff. This experience ignited an urgent action for a supplementary educational program to provide children with discipline and opportunities to become better citizens.
Gabriel uses his networking skills to bring together a team of professional, qualified educators and subject experts that have police and working with children checks. This ensures a safe and enriching environment for the students, bringing together the best minds to foster growth and learning.
Gabriel is deeply passionate about design, knowledge, youth welfare, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and resilience. He also started Rewrite Initiative,, where he collects unused, discarded, and unwanted usable office stationery from offices and businesses around Southeast Queensland to help underprivileged school children in a remote community on the foot of Mount Apo, in the island of Mindanao in Southern Philippines. Also, an initiative after he recognised a challenge that needed a solution.
From being educated and professionally exposed from various cities like Davao City, Adelaide, Brisbane, Vienna, Lisbon and New York City, Gabriel also wants to instill a global mindset through Renu-Ed — to help shape a mind that acts local, thinks global.
Gabriel has completed a year of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and fully completed Cert III & Diploma of Event Management, Diploma of Journalism, Bachelor of Marketing & Communication, Master of Product Design.
